For my research project, based around the quote “You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star”, I developed some prints as an response to patterns I have found in nature. While my vacation in Greece earlier in 2015 I discovered this piece of plastic covered in dirt. I took a picture as I found the structure very interesting. I painted over the lines I found in the photo, to duplicate and flip the result afterwards. To develop the print I further I took the print itself to get inspiration from. The tribal look of the print made me do illustrations with a jungle/wild theme and in-cooperated them with the original print.
